I’m Rafael Medrado, a senior Nuke compositor in Curitiba, Brazil. I’ve been compositing for more than 14 years, on commercials, feature films and series, and I work remotely.

Recent work includes ALDI with Psyop, Teamfight Tactics with Histeria!, Nubank x Disney and Naraka: Bladepoint with Zombie Studio, and Furia with Panda for Netflix. Long-form credits include Malasartes and Mulheres Alteradas at O2 Pós, Jesus with Casablanca and Troll Bridge with Snowgum Films.

I’ve led comp teams and taught compositing.

Alongside shot work I write Nuke tools. Some are small utilities I use every day. Others bring open AI models from Lightricks and NVIDIA into Nuke as nodes. They’re on the Tools page.
